Exterior Window Cleaning
Glass scrubbed and rinsed with purified water on a water-fed pole. It dries clear, with no soap film left to catch the next dust storm.

Interior Window Cleaning
Hand squeegeed and detailed at the edges, with drop cloths under every window. Your sills and floors stay dry.

Screen Cleaning
We pull your screens, wash out the pollen and cottonwood fluff, and put them back. You get more light and better airflow.

Track & Sill Cleaning
Dead bugs, grit, and gravel dust come out of the tracks by hand. It's the detail most crews skip and the one you notice most.

Hard Water Stain Removal
Those white spots from sprinklers won't come off with a normal wash. We treat them first, then finish with a purified rinse.

Shops, offices, and showrooms on a one-time or regular schedule. We can work before you open.
Our Window Cleaning Process
We Look Before We Touch
We count windows, check for storms, and note hard water. We also point out cracked glass or failed seals before any work starts.
Screens and Tracks First
Screens come out and tracks get cleaned. That way no grit falls onto fresh glass.
Glass Inside and Out
Outside gets a pre-rinse, a scrub, and a purified rinse. Inside gets a squeegee and hand-detailed edges.
Walk It With You
We check the job together before we leave. If a pane isn't right, we redo it on the spot.

Conner Olhoft
Owner
Meet Conner Olhoft
Hi, I’m Conner Olhoft, the owner of Olhoft’s Window and Surface Care. I haul junk around Morris and Stevens County, from a single couch in the garage to a machine shed nobody’s opened in years. Out here, a lot of it can’t just go to the curb, and trips to the transfer station on 470th Avenue add up fast. My name is on the business, so every cleanout has to be one I’m proud of. Here’s how I got here.
Olhoft’s started with windows. Before I ran my own business, I worked at Superior Industries in Morris, and cleaning the windows there was one of my tasks. I liked making dirty glass look like nothing was there. Then I added pressure washing, soft washing, and gutters. Junk hauling is the newest addition, and it fits better than you’d think. A lot of cleanouts end with a house that needs its windows and siding done before it’s listed.
A cleanout isn’t finished when the trailer’s full. It’s finished when the floor is swept and you can park in the garage again. Everything gets carried out and loaded for you, and lifting weights in my off hours comes in handy when it’s a chest freezer coming up the basement stairs. Paint and chemicals get set aside, with directions to the county’s hazardous waste days. And you get a price range from your photos before I show up.

Best Practices for Window Cleaning
in Morris
The best window cleaners around here follow a few standards. We hold ourselves to all of them.
Rinse before you scrub
Harvest dust is gritty. Scrubbing it dry scratches glass, so it should float off first.
Wash siding before glass
If the house needs soft washing, it comes first. Otherwise the runoff lands on clean windows.
No blades on coated glass
Many energy efficient windows have delicate coatings, and tempered glass can scratch under a scraper. Blades only come out for paint or stickers, and only after a test spot.
Time fall cleaning right
Fall cleaning should come after the combines pass and before the hard freeze. Clean too early and field dust comes right back.
How Much Does Window Cleaning Cost
in Morris?
Most homes around Morris pay $125 to $400 for professional window cleaning. A one story home with outside glass only sits at the low end. Two stories inside and out, with screens, lands near the top.
Your price depends on window count, stories, storm windows, screens, and hard water. You'll know it before we start.

Residential & Commercial
Window Cleaning
Residential Window Cleaning
We clean ranch homes, older two stories with storm windows, farmhouses on long gravel drives, and rentals near the UMN Morris campus. Storm windows add extra glass, so we price them honestly up front. Landlords can book us between tenants.

Commercial Window Cleaning
We clean storefronts along Atlantic Avenue, plus offices, clinics, churches, and showrooms. Most storefronts look best on a two to four week schedule. We can come early, before your first customer walks in.

Spot-Free Glass, Every Time
Purified water has no minerals left in it to dry on the glass. That's why our windows stay clear longer than a soap and towel job.
No Ladders on Your House
The water-fed pole reaches most two and three story windows from the ground. Your siding, gutters, and flower beds stay untouched.
The Whole Window, Not Just the Glass
Clean glass in a dirty frame still looks dirty. Frames, sills, and tracks are part of every visit.

What's on Your Windows Around Morris
Living out here leaves its own marks on glass. Here's what we see most and how we handle it.
Morris has softened its water at the city treatment plant since 2019, bringing hardness down from roughly 40 to 45 grains to about 5 to 7. Private wells and outdoor spigots usually skip that softening. University of Minnesota Extension notes that boxelder bugs are drawn to walls with strong south or west exposure, and to buildings standing alone on flat ground. That describes a lot of farmsteads around here.
Window Cleaning FAQs
How much does window cleaning cost for a 3 bedroom house in Morris?
Most three bedroom homes around Morris run about $175 to $300 for inside and out. Two stories, storm windows, or hard water can push it higher. Text photos to Olhoft's for a real number.
Do you clean windows inside and out?
Yes. You can book inside and out, or just one side. Olhoft's includes frames, sills, and tracks either way.
Do I need to be home?
Only for inside work. For outside only, just leave gates unlocked and pets inside. Olhoft's texts you when we're done.
Can you remove hard water stains from windows?
Usually, yes. Fresh mineral spots come off with treatment. Deposits left for years can etch the glass permanently. Olhoft's tests a spot first so you know what to expect.
How do you clean second and third story windows?
With a water-fed pole from the ground. It reaches upper windows on most homes around Morris. No ladders touch your siding with Olhoft's.
How often should I clean my windows in Minnesota?
Twice a year, in spring and fall, works for most homes. Homes on gravel roads or next to fields may need three visits. Olhoft's can put you on a regular schedule.
Can you clean windows in the winter?
Inside glass, yes, all winter long. Outside cleaning waits until temperatures stay above freezing. Call Olhoft's early to get on the spring list.
Do you offer commercial window cleaning in Morris?
Yes. We clean storefronts, offices, and showrooms on one-time or regular schedules. Olhoft's can work before you open.
When is the best time to clean windows in Minnesota?
Spring and fall. Spring clears winter salt film and pollen once it stays above freezing. Fall clears harvest dust before freeze up, ideally after the combines pass. Olhoft’s books both seasons, so call early to get a spot.
